TAMMIKUUN WINTERGRANDPRIXIN VALMENNUSLEIRILLÄ HUIPPUOSAAJAT
Tammikuussa järjestettävän WIntergrandprix-tapahtuman yhteydessä järjestettävän harjoitusleirin vetäjät ovat varmistuneet. Ennen kilpailuosiota Kisakalliossa järjestetään kansainvälinen valmennus- ja harjoitusleiri 11-14.tammikuuta. Leiri on avoin kaiken tasoisille ampumaurheilijoille.
Leirin valmentajina tulevat toimimaan SAL:n valmentajat John Leighton-Dyson ja Jack Bale. Nyt leirin valmennustiimi on vielä täydentynyt ja valmis, kun mukaan olemme saaneet TrainingLabista Henna Viljasen ja Aleksi Lepän. Molemmat tunnetaan toki myös huippu-urheilijoina.
- Leirin aikana pääset osallistumaan käytännönläheisiin harjoituksiin, joissa keskitytään perusasioihin. Harjoitukset on suunniteltu kaikentasoisille kivääriampujille. Olitpa vasta ampumaurasi alkuvaiheessa tai jo kokenut kilpailija. Tule leirille hakemaan uusia näkökulmia ja haastamaan omaa tekemistäsi, kertovat TrainingLabin Henna Viljanen ja Aleksi Leppä, jotka tulevat mukaan tammikuun 2027 Winter GrandPrix -tapahtumassa valmentajina.
- Hienoa, että saimme Hennan ja Aleksin myös mukaan Johnin ja Jackin rinnalle täydentämään valmennusta leirillä. Kun molemmat ovat huippu-urheilijoita, uskon että heillä on paljon annettavaa urheilijoille, iloitsee tapahtumapromoottori Risto Aarrekivi.
Wintergrandprix- tapahtuma alkaa 11. tammikuuta torstaihin 14.1. saakka kestävällä leirillä, jonka jälkeen alkaa kilpailuosio 15-17.1. Viikonlopun aikana järjestetään kaikille avoimet 10m pistoolin ja ilmakiväärin näyttökisat ja tapahtuman päättää sitten lauantaina ja sunnununtaina kisattava Wintergrandprix.

TOP EXPERTS TO LEAD THE TRAINING CAMP AT JANUARY’S WINTER GRAND PRIX
The coaches leading the training camp held in conjunction with the Winter Grand Prix event in January have now been confirmed. Before the competition phase, an international coaching and training camp will be held at Kisakallio from January 11–14. The camp is open to shooters of all levels.
The camp will be coached by SAL coaches John Leighton-Dyson and Jack Bale. The coaching team has now been further strengthened and is complete, with TrainingLab’s Henna Viljanen and Aleksi Leppä joining the team. Both are, of course, also well-known elite athletes.
“During the camp, you will take part in practical training sessions focusing on the fundamentals. The sessions are designed for rifle shooters of all levels, whether you are just at the beginning of your shooting career or already an experienced competitor. Come to the camp to gain new perspectives and challenge yourself in your training,” say TrainingLab’s Henna Viljanen and Aleksi Leppä, who will join the coaching team at the January 2027 Winter Grand Prix event.
“It’s great that we have also been able to bring Henna and Aleksi on board alongside John and Jack to complement the coaching team at the camp. As both are elite athletes, I believe they have a lot to offer the participants,” says says Risto Aarrekivi, the event promoter, delighted.
The Winter Grand Prix event begins with the training camp on January 11 and runs through Thursday, January 14. The competition phase will then take place from January 15–17. During the weekend, open 10m air pistol and air rifle qualification competitions will be held, followed by the Winter Grand Prix competitions on Saturday and Sunday.
